Hands down the best Chicken Parmesan recipe you'll ever make! For Italian dinner night Chicken Parmesan is easily a classic family favorite. Tender chicken breast breaded and smothered in a delicious tomato sauce and topped with fresh mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and fresh basil!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 large chicken breasts (halved horizontally to make 4 filets)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs ((or flour))
  • 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

Chicken Parmesan Sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 16 oz tomato puree
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

Chicken Parmesan Topping

  • 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • fresh basil
  • fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 425F and lightly grease a baking dish and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Dip the chicken into the egg mixture, making sure each filet is evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for at least 20 minutes or overnight.
  • After the chicken has marinated, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and garlic powder into another small bowl. Place each chicken filet into the breadcrumb mixture and make sure each side is coated evenly. In a large skillet, heat oil on medium-high heat. Fry each chicken filet until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes per side.
  • Place the chicken in the greased baking dish and top each breast with about 1/3 cup of tomato sauce. Then top with about 2 tablespoons of mozzarella and 2 tablespoons of parmesan. Sprinkle with basil and parsley to taste.
  • Bake the chicken for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the chicken is cooked through. Top with fresh basil and parsley and serve immediately.

This healthy ground turkey recipe is easy, fast, and delicious. Ground turkey is often overlooked but this easy recipe is something I make all the time. It only takes one pan and you can serve it over your favorite steamed rice for a well balanced healthy meal!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (separated)
  • 1 cup yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup scallions (chopped)
  • 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 2 1/2 tbsp cilantro (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Heat two tablespoons of the olive oil in a large pan or skillet on medium high heat. Add in the chopped onions and peppers and cook until softened. Once softened, add the garlic and cook until fragrant. Then, push the vegetables to the edge of the pan and add the remaining oil to coat the empty part of the pan. Place chunks of the ground turkey in the pan and then sprinkle salt with chili powder and brown. Once the turkey is cooked through, stir in the onions and peppers and add more salt and chili powder to taste and remove from heat. Sprinkle with freshly chopped cilantro and serve immediately.

If you've never made a deviled egg recipe you are in for a real treat! Deviled eggs take a hard boiled up several levels. In this recipe, you will learn how to make deviled eggs with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and smoked paprika!

Ingredients

  • 7 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • smoked paprika (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Gently place eggs in a single layer in the bottom of a pot so they do not crack. Make sure the eggs are submerged in water and hard boil them for about 10-12 minutes. Once done, remove from heat and and allow to cool in an ice water bath. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolk from each egg and place in a small bowl. Mash the egg yolks with a fork and then add the mayo, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir until smooth. Use a spoon (or piping bag) to add a portion of the mixture back into the cavity of each egg white. Garnish with extra paprika.

  • 1/3 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (diced into cubes)

  • 2 lbs Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, and sliced about 1/8-inch)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar

  • Preheat your oven to 375F and grease an 8x8 baking pan. First, make the topping. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Then, add in the diced butters and using your fingers, mix the butter in until becomes crumbly. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling. In another mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and flour, then add in the water, lemon juice, and vanilla. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and pinch of salt. Pour the butter mixture over the apples, tossing to evenly coat. Once evenly coated, pour the apple mixture into a prepared baking dish, spreading in an even layer. Sprinkle the topping in an even layer over the apples.

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted, unsalted)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs

Instructions 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, mayonnaise, parsley, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, lemon juice, melted butter and salt. Add in the crab meat and bread crumbs and use a rubber spatula to fold everything together.
  • Then, cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425F and line a baking sheet or pan with aluminum foil. With a 1/2 cup measuring cup, portion the crab cake mixture into patties or balls on the baking sheet, making sure not to flatten. Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.   • 3 cups chocolate chips (semi sweet)

  • Add in the broccoli, bell pepper, carrots, and ginger garlic paste to the wok and cook until fork tender. Once the veggies are fork tender, add the chicken back in and stir.
