This super easy 1 pan Beef and Broccoli recipe is the perfect meal to get your greens and proteins all at once. Its full of tender beef, and fresh broccoli evenly coated in a delicious stir fry sauce. Pairs great on its own or over steamed rice, or quinoa.

  • 1 1/4 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 7 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
  • 1/2 cup hot water (optional if steaming broccoli or thinning sauce)
  • 7 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions 

  • First, prepare the stir fry sauce ingredients. In a small bowl, combine thoroughly then set aside.
  • Then, in a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium heat. Stir in the broccoli and saute until bright green and crisp. Once crisp, remove the broccoli and set aside.
  • Increase the heat to high and add another tbsp of vegetable oil. Place the slices of beef in a single layer and cook until just cooked through. Once the beef is just cooked through, add in the stir fry sauce. Reduce the heat to medium or low and simmer until the sauce begins to thicken. Once thickened, add in the broccoli and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Add hot water a tablespoon at at time if you desire a thinner sauce. Top with sesame seeds and serve over white rice.

This classic Beef Wellington recipe is comes out tender and juicy everytime! This English holiday favorite wrapped in a flaky buttery pastry is always a crowd pleaser on our table and always has a lot of people asking for the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef tenderloin filet
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb baby bell mushrooms
  • 5 slices prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard (Coleman's brand)
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for surface)
  • 7 oz puff pastry (defrosted in refrigerator)
  • 3 egg yolks (beaten)

Instructions 

  • Generously season the beef filet with salt and pepper on all sides. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large pan on high heat Sear the filet on all sides until well browned. Allow the fillet to cool. Once cooled, brush all sides with Coleman’s yellow mustard and set aside.
  • Then, make the mushroom duxelles. Puree the mushrooms in a food processor. Then cook the mixture in a sauté pan, allowing all moisture to be released. Once all of the moisture has boiled off, set the pan aside to cool.
  • Next, roll out a large piece of plastic wrap. Lay out the slices of prosciutto and spread the mushroom duxelles on top. Place the beef fillet in the middle, rolling the mushroom and prosciutto over the fillet. Use the plastic wrap to roll into a tight barrel shape and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400F. While the oven is preheating, lightly flour your surface and roll out a sheet of puff pastry to a size that will wrap around the fillet. Unwrap the filet from the plastic and place in the middle of the puff pastry. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg yolks. Fold the pastry around the fillet, cutting off any excess pastry. Brush with beaten egg yolks and chill for 10 minutes. Place the fillet on a baking pan, brush again with beaten eggs. Score the top of the pastry without going all the way through and sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Bake at 400F for 25-35 minutes or until medium rare. Allow to rest for 10 minute before slicing and serving.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lb lo mein egg noodles (cooked)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 bag frozen mixed stir-fry vegetables
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • green onions (chopped for garnish)

Beef stir fry sauce

  • 2 tbsp garlic ginger paste
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions 

  • First, season the flank steak with salt and pepper and toss with cornstarch and set aside.
  • Next, put about 1 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok on medium high heat. Cook the beef in small batches until browned, or about 3 minutes per side. Once browned, set aside.

Classic tender beef stroganoff recipe with a delicious creamy mushroom sauce in 30 minutes! This is one of my quick and easy recipes that comes out excellent every time and reheats great for next day leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb uncooked wide egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup butter (divided)
  • 1 1/2 lbs thinly-sliced flank or skirt steak
  • 1 small white onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lb baby bella sliced mushroom
  • 8 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups beef stock ((beef broth))
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Fill a large pot about 3/4 of the way with water an heat over high heat and bring to a boil. Generously salt the water and cook the egg noodles until tender. While the pasta is cooking, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the steak to the sauce pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 3 minutes to sear on one side. Once browned on one side, flip the steak and cook on the other side until evenly browned. Remove the steak from the pan, place it on a plate and set aside. To make sure the meat is evenly cooked, you may want to cook the meat in batches to avoid overfilling the pan.
  • Using the same saute pan, add the remaining 2 tablespoons butter to the saute pan and melt over medium high heat. Once melted, add the onions and saute for about 3 minutes until they become semi translucent, add the mushrooms and saute for an additional 6 minutes and then add in the garlic. Carefully pour in the white wine and stir regularly allowing the mixture to reduce for another 3 minutes.
  • While the wine mixture is reducing, in a mixing bowl, add in the beef stock, Worcestershire sauce and flour and whisk until well combined. Carefully pour the mixture into the saute pan, stir well to combine and bring to a simmer for about 4 minutes. Next, add the sour cream and cooked steak and stir until well combined and the meat is evenly coated. Serve warm over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!

  • 3 lbs boneless beef chuck roast (cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 large carrots (peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks)
  • 2 medium yellow onions (cut into 1 inch chunks)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups red wine (cabernet sauvignon)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 lb baby yukon potatoes (cut in half)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Remove the beef from the refrigerator, pat dry with paper towels, and season with your teaspoons salt and pepper. In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil over medium-high heat until the oil is nice and hot. Sear the meat in batches, turning carefully with tongs, adding about one more tablespoon of olive oil for each section. Once the meat has been evenly seared with a brown crust, place the meat and any browned bits on a separate dish to the side.
  • In a crock pot (or dutch oven), add the onions, garlic, balsamic vinegar, tomato paste, red wine, beef broth, water, dried thyme, sugar, carrots, and baby yukon potatoes and stir. Add the beef stew meat to the crock pot mixture and spread in the flour evenly. Cook (simmer) on low heat in the crock pot for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Stir occasionally scraping the bottom of the pot with a wooden spoon to incorporate all flavors. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Classic slow cooker Pot Roast recipe that is super easy to make and makes enough for delicious leftovers throughout the week. This family favorite pot roast has the perfect balance of meat, potatoes, and veggies with a blend of spices to achieve the perfect flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs chuck roast
  • 2 yellow onions (chopped)
  • 8 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1 lb baby yukon gold potatoes
  • 4 carrots (cut into 2 inch pieces)
  • 2 celery stalks (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp bouillon (chicken or beef) (powdered granules)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil ((or olive oil))

Instructions 

  • Start by heating oil in a large skillet pan on medium-high heat. While oil is heating, season the chuck roast with a liberal amount of salt and pepper. Sear the roast on all sides until well browned (about 5 minutes per side). Once seared, place the roast into your slow cooker (dutch oven).
  • Add in the onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, celery, balsamic, mustard, brown sugar, Cabernet, thyme, and bouillon. Season with salt and pepper. Add in the stock and stir. Cook on low setting and simmer for 8 hours or until meat is tender and falling apart and the vegetables are soft. Slice meat and garnish with fresh parsley.
