Ingredients

  • 2 15oz can of chickpeas
  • 4-5 fresh lemons
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground sumac garnish

Method

  1. Put the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, salt, tahini, and half of the olive oil into a food processor and blend. Add in about 1/4 cup of the aquafaba and remaining olive oil until a smooth, creamy consistency is reached.
  2. Garnish with an extra drizzle of olive oil, ground sumac, and parsley. Serve with pita triangles.
