Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter for baking sheet
  • 2 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 10-15 chicken wings

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat the foil evenly with the 5 tbsp butter. You can also spray with nonstick cooking spray in addition to the butter if desired.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Add the chicken wings into the mixing bowl with the spice mixture and make sure each side is evenly coated. Place the wings in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. After the wings have baked for 30 minutes, flip the wings over and bake for another 10-15 minutes to ensure that they are crispy and cooked completely.
  3. Serve with the wings with celery, carrots, and bleu cheese. Garnish with freshly chopped chives!
