Lean, mean, and delicious! This oven baked chicken breast recipe is healthy and packed with flavor. Serve with any of your favorite side dishes for a healthy meal.
- 4 chicken breasts (halved)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt (to taste)
- pepper
- fresh parsley (chopped as garnish)
Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Then, in a small bowl, mix the seasoning together. Place chicken on the tray, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning, flip the chicken over and coat the other side.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165F. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley, and wait 3-5 minutes before serving.
