The perfect moist ground beef recipe while still using lean beef. This recipe is perfect all by itself or for adding to your favorite dishes that call for cooked ground beef!
- 1 lb lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 white onion (diced)
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- green onions (garnish)
In a large skillet, saute the garlic and onion in the olive oil until softened. Then, add in the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles and cooking just until no longer pink. It is important to not overcook or your ground beef will not be as moist.
Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately with chopped green onion.
