This homemade honey baked ham recipe is the perfect way to cook a tender and juicy ham while saving money on a delicious holiday meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 8-10lb spiral cut ham

Honey Glaze

  • 1 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 250F. Remove the packaging from the ham and place on a baking sheet or shallow roasting pan cut side down. Bake for about 15 minutes per pound, or until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 135F.
  • While the ham cooks, combine the ingredients for the glaze in a bowl and mix well.
  • Once the ham reaches 135F, remove from oven and brush the ham with the glaze liberally. Heat the oven to 400F and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the glaze has browned. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
