Poached eggs are one of my favorite and now having poached eggs for breakfast are no longer limited to restaurants. This simple poached egg recipe is perfect for your next family breakfast!
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
Bring a large pot of water to boil. In the meantime, crack an egg into a sieve over a bowl, swirling the egg to remove any liquidy egg whites. Set the egg aside in a ramekin or small bowl. When the water is boiled, create a vortex, adding in the vinegar into the water as well. Cook the egg for 3 minutes, then remove with a slotted spoon . Dab any excess water and serve immediately.
