This homemade waffle recipe is hard to beat. This light, fluffy and delicious family favorite puts a smile on all the little ones faces. Its our go-to breakfast dish for weekends and especially when we have friends and family visiting. Everyone LOVES them!
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 2/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup butter (melted)
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Start by preheating your waffle iron.
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Slowly add your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until fully combined.
Grease the waffle iron and carefully drop large spoonfuls of the waffle batter into the waffle iron and close the lid. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
Serve with maple syrup, butter, whipped cream, and fresh blueberries.
