This homemade waffle recipe is hard to beat. This light, fluffy and delicious family favorite puts a smile on all the little ones faces. Its our go-to breakfast dish for weekends and especially when we have friends and family visiting. Everyone LOVES them!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Start by preheating your waffle iron.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla extract. Slowly add your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until fully combined.
  • Grease the waffle iron and carefully drop large spoonfuls of the waffle batter into the waffle iron and close the lid. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side.
  • Serve with maple syrup, butter, whipped cream, and fresh blueberries.
