Honestly the BEST guacamole recipe I've ever tried!  So fast and easy to make, gluten and dairy free, and always a party favorite!

Ingredients

  • 2 large Hass avocados
  • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 serrano pepper (or jalapeno) (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 small tomato (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp red onion (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 lime (juice fresh squeezed)

Instructions 

  • Halve the avocados. Slice the halves into cross-sections.
  • Scoop avocado into a medium mixing bowl. Gently mix in red onion, tomato, Serrano peppers, cilantro, garlic powder, and lime juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well but leave chunks of avocado still visible for green goodness!
  • Serve with crispy tortilla chips.

Notes

Carefully wash your hands after handling peppers. They can leave oils in your skin that you do not want around your face. Do not touch your eyes!
